alpinestakepool.at is the website of ALPS, The Alpine Stake Pool, a stake pool on the Cardano blockchain run by the media owner. It presents the pool and documents the donations made from it. The site sells nothing and shows no advertising.

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no content from social networks. Its font is served from this site, not from Google.
To deliver the site, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data when you open it: your IP address, date and time, the file requested and your browser's identification. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a secure and working operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Microsoft processes the data named above as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR) and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The figures at the top of the page – live stake, active stake, pledge, delegators and blocks – are fetched by your browser directly from the API of cexplorer.io, a Cardano blockchain explorer. That request transmits your IP address and browser identification to cexplorer.io's operator; nothing else is sent, and nothing about you is stored on this site. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in showing current data about the pool (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). cexplorer.io's own privacy policy applies to that request.
The organizations and the donations, including their receipts' addresses, are JSON files in the public repository alpinestakepool-files. Your browser loads them from raw.githubusercontent.com, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which receives your IP address and browser identification with that request. GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; see the GitHub General Privacy Statement. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in publishing the donations verifiably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Every donation links to its receipt on paperless.bergbua.at, a server operated by the controller. Opening a receipt is a request to that server and logs the same technical data as a visit to this site, for the same purpose and on the same legal basis.
The links to X, Telegram, cexplorer.io, pooltool.io, adastat.net, cardano.org and other sites are plain links – nothing from those sites is embedded here. Only once you follow one do you leave this website, and the privacy policy of the respective operator applies.
If you write to lukas@alpinestakepool.at, your message and address are kept for as long as it takes to deal with your request.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. An e-mail to lukas@alpinestakepool.at is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: dsb.gv.at.
